Who can I call for free?
In FreecoNet you talk for free with everyone who connects their telephone to the Internet and signs up to FreecoNet.
It does not matter what telecommunication’s operator they use (this may be traditional operator of the fixed-line telephony, as TP SA, or any of the VoIP operators) and the country in which they are located.
How to call someone who is not in FreecoNet?
For those not having their FreecoNet account yet and still using traditional landline or mobile, you will be able to call the same way as before registering to FreecoNet. However, thanks to TeleArena your connections will be much cheaper, because we will always provide you with automatic selection of the cheapest operator, who will execute them, so that you won’t have to worry about the settlement or agreement – FreecoNet will do it for you.
Ordinary VoIP operators limit the possibility of free connections only to subscribers of their own network, or they establish short-term promotions of free connections in some direction. FreecoNet has created a way, in which you will no longer have to keep track of the constant changes and search for the most beneficial connections. Every time you dial a number, we choose the cheapest means to carry out your connection.
Moreover, in order to use FreecoNet you do not have to use headphones, microphone, or turn your computer on, like in case of free messenger. If you connect your phone to the Internet, you can call the same way as in before and the only difference that you will notice is that your bills are much lower now.
Can I call through FreecoNet if I don’t have Internet?
Yes. FreecoNet allows you to call even if you do not have access to the Internet. You can call from any mobile or landline. Thanks to the service 'Dial in', which is available in your user’s control panel you can call at the lowest rates through TelArena.
This functionality enables to call the FreecoNet system from any phone and any telecommunication operator and then call a desired number both within FreecoNet network and outside due to TelArena service.
By this means in case of no internet connection by dailing-in onto your own FreecoNet number you are able to establish local, long-distance or international phonecall with TelArena rates, so several times cheaper than traditional Telco rates.
How to do this?
1. After creating an account in the FreecoNet panel select a city number from any area code ex. 022 1231212
2. Add ‘Dial-in’ service and assign selected city number
3. From mobile or landline number simply call: 22 1231212
4. After the connection has been reached you will hear the voice that that will inform you to enter a destination number ex. 058 1231212
5. After entering the number from the phone keypad and pressing #, you will be connected to 058 123 12 12 at the lowest rate offered by the available TelArena operators.
