Virtual Fax - how does it work?

Virtual Fax is a combination of four innovative FreecoNet’s functionalities (fax2mail, mail2fax, web2fax, print2fax). Despite of their latest technological advancement they are extremely easy to use.

Receiving faxes – Fax2Mail

Virtual Fax may have any urban number attached to it. Sent fax is delivered within seconds on users e-mail adress as a PDF file. Apart from this it is also available in fax console and Freeconet user's panel.

Thanks to this user may decide what to do with received faxes: either delete, print, forward or put them on server. Processing and archivizing such faxes becomes nice and easy. This functionality is very cost effective and enables to improve work efficiency.

All faxes sent to the user can be received by e-mail inbox or through virtual fax console. This makes things a lot easier - not only you have full access to incoming documents to which you can return at any time, but also the exact time when they were sent. In the case of a traditional fax machine it would be impossible!

 

Sending faxes –Web2Fax, Mail2Fax & Print2Fax

Virtual Fax enables sending documents in popular file formats (ex. PDF, TIFF, PS) to any fax device in two ways - by using Mail2Fax (through mail client) or Web2Fax (through fax console). Their attendance is extremely simple and it is possible to send one fax simultaneously to a number (up to 1000) of recipients.

Web2Fax

This service allows sending documents to traditional fax devices. Sending faxes is carried out by specially designed, virtual fax console (website). After logging into your fax console, sending document is as simple as uploading a desired document in a suitable format and entering recipient’s fax number. Moreover, there is a very useful option that allows you to set up specific time for sending a fax. Simply select the appropriate date and time in the so-called "mask of time" and the document will be sent according to your settings. In this case fax is being sent even if your computer is switched off.

Mail2Fax

Mail2fax service allows sending documents to traditional fax devices. Sending faxes is carried out with the help of email client (ex. MS Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird) installed on your computer. In order to use the service, simply enter a fax number (for multiple numbers use comma as a separator) in the subject line of your email and send the attached document in a suitable format to the following address fax@t37fax.pl. FreecoNet will take care of the rest.

Print2Fax

You can send any document in A4 format as a fax by simply selecting the print command, for example in a word processor or spreadsheet. All you need to do is install on your computer, a printer driver called "FreecoNet Fax Printer". After the installation additional printer should appear in the system - fax device. In order to send a fax, choose a program (eg. MS Office Word), select "Print" and indicate the number the fax should be sent to.

Virtual fax console

Thanks to virtual fax console you can overview all of activities related to your virtual fax device like for example you can track the progress of sending faxes or have an insight view into the archive of all sent documents.

All faxes sent to the user can be received through the email box or fax virtual console. This way you can facilitate your work by not only having full and instant access to your documents, but also the exact time when the fax was sent. In the case of the traditional fax device it would be impossible!

Mass faxing
