Dial-in is a name of a functionality that enables to call the FreecoNet system from any phone and any Telco, then call desired number both within FreecoNet network and outside due to TelArena service. By this means in case of no internet connection by dailing-in onto your own FreecoNet number you are able to establish local, long-distance or international phonecall with TelArena rates, so several times cheaper then traditional Telco rates. Dail-in plays back to the user an announcement with a request to dial phone number a then waits for the user to type in the number. Afterwards this functionality connect the user with the number via predefined FreecoNet account.
Thanks to this functionality there is a possibility to call cheaper or even for free from your mobile phone. For this reason one should choose GSM Telco's appropriate option ("Orange Wybrane Numery", "Era Oferta z przyjaciółmi", "Plus GSM Kontakt Plus", etc.)

There is also a possibility to type the number in with single sequence '(access_number)p(target_number)', where 'p' - stands for pauze and is avalable e.g. in Nokia phone by pressing '*' three times, other mobile phone require pressing '0' for a while untill 'p' appears.

Callback – is a method of initiating the connections, that is based on reverse calling back. This functionality enables to establish cheap connections regardless of the location and telecommunication network access type.
In order to explain the working principal of Dial-In/Callback system lets consider a case where a user is outside his common loction and wants to establish a connection without exposing his hosts to and charges. He can call his local FreecoNet number (0,03-0,09 PLN/min.) and type in his PIN number. Then FreecoNet system would disconnect and call him back. Then it will ask the user to type in the telephone number that he would like to call to. The connection is being established with TelArena rates. By this means it is possible to use VoIP telephony regardless the place and access to the internet.
