The article entitled „Telecommunication from the sky” published in the latest issue of IT Reseller magazine (14 March 2011) describes the growing importance of the Internet model for small and medium enterprises. An increasing number of SMEs decide to introduce these telecommunication systems allowing them to collect and store all data and resources on servers operated by external providers. There are also other reasons for this development including economic savings, safety, easy setup and management of the system.
According to Jan Wyrwiński, President of the Board of FreecoNet Tlenofon SA, there is a clear similarity with the e-mail server market. A few years ago every company wanted to have its own e-mail server. Today some 62 % of companies use hosted e-mail servers. According to the expert's opinion, implementation of IP telecommunication can provide numerous benefits, especially for companies with many branches or operating in various locations.
