FreecoNet is a brand held by Aiton Caldwell SA. The platform was established in September 2006 by a team of specialists assembled by Datera SA, a technology company which designs and implements modern and advanced telecommunication solutions.
It gained its popularity mainly to unique characteristics of the platform. FreecoNet offers free phone calls among all numbers registered within the platform – regardless Telcos and country of origin. Unregistered numbers may be reached with the lowest rates available thanks to TelArena service (it gathers several independent Telcos that compete for outgoing calls hosting). FreecoNet offers as well a wide variety of additional features both for individual clients and companies. These are among others: IVR systems and Call Center, FlashPhone application, Virtual Fax, as well as FreecoNet Mobile.
FreecoNet platform was numerously awarded for its innovativeness with such prizes, as „Pomorski Lider Innowacji” (Pomeranian Innovation Leader) in 2007 and 2006, „Nadzieja Roku 2007" (Hope of the year 2007) and „Innowacja Roku 2007” (Innovation of the year 2007).
