FreecoNet lowers prices for virtual assistants and cell phones 08.09.2009
From September 1st the current year, for the use of foreign-based speech synthesizers available on the FreecoNet platform, you pay only 29 zł gross per month. It's not the end of autumn reductions planned by the operator. From October 1st the current year, the cell phone prices will fall for connections made through TelArena (FreecoNet module). Calling on the numbers of Era, Orange and Plus operators – you will pay from 31 gr gross per minute (charged per second).
Nearly 50 percent reduction of prices for virtual assistants – up to 29 zł gross per month – should please those FreecoNet users, who want to use speech synthesis to create a professional system of greetings and redirecting calls (IVR). There is a wide choice of English-speaking voice with an American accent - Jennifer and Eric, and also a Romanian voice - Carmen. Communications are created and modified through the FreecoNet User’s Panel. Just sign in through the Internet and type the desired message on the computer keyboard to be processed and read out by the speech synthesizer.
It is worth remembering that in FreecoNet there is also an option to choose Polish-speaking male voices - Jacek (10 zł gross / month), Jan (19 zł gross per month), and female - Ewa and Maja (19 zł gross per month). Each of the virtual assistants speaks in a way that is practically indistinguishable from the natural voice. Voice is generated by IVONA TTS, developed by IVO Software and considered as one of the best in the world. This is confirmed by numerous honors and awards - including the prestigious international Blizzard Challenge, twice in a row between 2006 and 2007, IVONA's voice quality was recognized as one of the closest to a natural voice.
In addition to reductions introduced for the use of foreign voices generated by the speech synthesizer, FreecoNet again reduced prices for calls to mobile phones. From October 1st the current year new fees will range from 31 g gross per minute (the Era network, Orange and Plus), which is cheaper by almost 20 percent in comparison to current prices. In the near future, it is also planned to introduce lower prices for connection to Play operator. All numbers registered on the platform, users of FreecoNet can call for free.
