More and more popular FreecoNet amongst SMEs 31.08.2009

In the days of the crisis, everyone who offers its customers more for less money - is a winner. FreecoNet SA data, which offers online telecommunications services and records the steady increase in the number of business customers by 10 percent monthly on average, confirms it.

The strongest interest in telecommunications solutions offered by FreecoNet is noticed among technological and service companies, which employ up to 30 people and put a high pressure on the quality of the telephone customer service. Among FreecoNet users there are also big multidepartment companies, which – thanks to free connections inside the network and low rates for unregistered numbers (e.g. connecting to stationary numbers in Poland or England is 5 gr per minute in gross prices, charged per second) – reduce their telephone costs.

Increasingly attractive for companies is also a rich set of value added services. These include IVR and Call Center systems, FlashPhone application, Virtual Fax, and FreecoNet Mobile. As it follows from the FreecoNet analyses, currently the most interest among companies has the Virtual Fax Service - this service allows you to use the full functionality of fax, without his physical possession. Equally popular is the function Menu, which allows the caller to choose one of the options available to continue a phone call. Popular service is also Internal number - which lets you connect to a specific person within the company. Among the hardware, companies most often reach for dedicated IP phones (mainly Cisco and Gigaset).

"The economic slowdown forces companies to seek for immediate savings. This is one of the reasons why Internet telephony has gained so much popularity among SMEs recently. Crisis acted as a catalyst, speeding up the decision to implement VoIP. Most often it takes the form of migration to a fully outsourced model of telecommunications solutions. Collaboration with one entity in the telecom business such as FreecoNet is also becoming more popular (both in terms of telecommunication traffic and value added services). The development of VoIP is supported by the fact that companies put more and more attention on the importance of improving the quality of telephone customer service. Therefore there is a growing interest in services like Call Center or other FreecoNet’s added services "- explains Jan Wyrywiński, CEO of FreecoNet SA.

The representative of the operator also points out another reason for the popularity of FreecoNet among SMEs. It is the fact that FreecoNet is the only Internet telephony operator in Poland, which allows you to transfer phone numbers from the subscribers of TP SA from all 49 numbering zones in the country. Numbers may also be moved to FreecoNet by the users of the following operators: Exatel, GTS Energis, NASK and Netia.
