FreecoNet migrates new users 12.08.2010

The transfer of Tlenofon user accounts to FreecoNet platform has begun. This is another step in the merger of two operators after free calls between users of both sides. FreecoNet also acquires the customers of other VoIP providers. The company has recently completed the transfer of accounts from IPTanifon and Mediatel 4B. In the near future further migrations from two other operators are planned.

After the merger of FreecoNet and Tlenofonu that was announced in February, a newly formed company FreecoNet Tlenofon S.A. continues to consolidate the VoIP market in Poland. The next step is moving Tlenofon user accounts to FreecoNet platform. As a result of migration, which will continue until the end of August two different offers will apply. The first one directed to already existing FreecoNet users and new registrants on the platform. The second one will be mapping the current offer of Tlenofon. Moving to FreecoNet platform will not change the prices and terms of service. Customers will be notified by mail on the date of the account transfer. In the next stage of the merger, scheduled for the turn of September and October, migrated users will be opened to change the offer from Tlenofon to FreecoNet. In this way they will be able to use all value added services offered by the operator. Specially created and constantly updated guide to the migration for Tlenofonu users is available at http://www.freeconet.pl/pl/przeprowadzka-tlenofonu/.

"Users will gain a lot by moving to FreecoNet. In addition to our services and regular promotions, FreecoNet offers attractive pricing - for example, twice cheaper call rates to mobile phones (from 0.25 zł net value). From our point of view, the migration of new users to our platform is primarily a further step of market consolidation and strengthening our position in terms of competing with big telecoms. This will also allow us to provide the highest quality of services at the lowest possible prices for our customers "- says Jan Wyrwiński, CEO of FreecoNet Tlenofon SA.
