The whole area of Poland in the range of FreecoNet 01.10.2009

In FreecoNet - one of the most popular Internet telephony operators in Poland - There are two new numbering zones: 0-82 (Chełm) and 0-86 (Łomża). In this way, FreecoNet’s range took the entire country.

Whether you live in a big city in the north, or in a small village in the south of Poland - just connect to the Internet and you can freely use the FreecoNet’s telephony. You can choose any number from all 49 Polish numbering zones. Coverage of the whole country by FreecoNet was possible primarily thanks to the cooperation of major telecommunications operators in Poland. Like TelArena – FreecoNet’s module – a platform that fights for the privilege of carrying out each user's connection. This applies only to registered numbers, because within FreecoNet, all calls are free.

The launch of two new zones - Chełm (0-82) and Łomża (0-86) - is good news for people living and operating their own businesses in the region, which were the last to join the numbers available in FreecoNet. For them it means to be able to benefit from the full range of FreecoNet: the phone number from their own area code and making calls for free or at the lowest market’s rates. Users may also profit from a whole range of advanced value added services. Individual user can enjoy many useful at home phone features such as voicemail, transferring, forwarding, call blocking, and many other. For companies more complex systems are offered, such as IVR, Call Center, Virtual Fax.

"Extending coverage of FreecoNet for the entire country makes it possible for everyone to benefit from access to the Internet telephony. This is another step in efforts to facilitate those wishing to move to VoIP, and thus spread it in our home market. Since mid- July, FreecoNet SA - the first Internet telephony operator in Poland - has enabled the transfer of phone numbers from the subscribers of TP SA for all the 49 numbering zones in Poland. In addition, their numbers may move to FreecoNet users and other operators: Exatel, GTS Energis, Netia and NASK "- reminds Jan Wyrwinski, CEO of FreecoNet SA.
