The competition „National Leaders of Innovativeness and Development” is conducted annually by Innovativeness and Development Fund. It consists of two stages, a regional one conducted in 16 regions (voivodships) and a national one. Winners of regional competitions are awarded the chance to compete in the national final. This year FreecoNet won in "Innovative Product" category in Pomerania for its hosted added services provided by the operator's platform.

The package of hosted added services offered by FreecoNet includes, among others, a virtual exchange, Virtual Fax, Call Recorder, Call Center, IVR with voice synthesizer, online billing, call transfer and many more. Use of individual modules does not require any additional investment since the whole required infrastructure is hosted by the operator's servers. A user only needs to operate a FreecoNet account, login to access a panel available on the Internet, and click and mark selected services. The basic services are available for free. More advanced services require a low, monthly fee.

Innovative character of telecommunication solutions provided by FreecoNet was also acknowledged in the competition "Company with the Future 2010”. It is one of the most prestigious competitions for Pomeranian enterprises. It has been organized by Pomeranian Chamber of Crafts of Small and Medium Enterprises since 1996. It is designed to support competitiveness and to promote companies from the region.

"We are very happy because of the awards. They confirm innovativeness and potential of FreecoNet platform. All received awards motivate us even further to develop the platform and ensure that it still determines standards for Internet telecommunication services in Poland" - said Mr. Jan Wyrwiński, President of the Board of FreecoNet Tlenofon SA.

Since it was established in 2006, FreecoNet has received numerous awards and prizes. Most of them for innovativeness and support for development of VoIP telecommunication market in Poland. Recently FreecoNet platform was one of the winners of the competition "Product of the Year 2010 - Readers' Choice" organized by Networld Magazine. It received the award for introduction of HD quality telephone calls. Previously the company Datera SA received awards for development of FreecoNet including, among others, the title of „VoIP Leader 2008” (an industrial prize awarded by D-Link), special award in the competition „Kamerton Innowacyjności 2008” (organized by Polish Confederation of Private Employers Lewiatan, BRE Bank, D&B, Rzeczpospolita daily and Manager Magazine), and the title of "Innovation of the Year 2007” (in the competition organized by Forum Biznesu).
